A third year student in the WVMS Lower Elementary program, Haley Jacob received a life saving liver transplant in October. WVMS and the Jacob family are ecstatic that Haley was able to find a donor, is thriving with her new liver and has already returned to school! Her donor, Amanda Rakowski, visited the school, and together the two provided information to students highlighting the importance of liver function as well as the transplant process.
