Paul Epsom of WNEP’s Home and Backyard recently vistited WVMS to check out the Children Feeding Children Greenhouse & Garden Project. Headed by parent/dietitian Clancy Harrison, the project is based at our school and utilizes both an on-site greenhouse and garden area. The curriculum based program teaches children to cultivate transplants from seeds, garden, cook with fresh food and give back to the community. The food grown and harvested are donated to the Al Beech Food Pantry in Kingston. To check out the show segment click here.
