The Upper El students enjoyed a hands-on presentation teaching the importance of energy, natural resources and environmental resources presented by UGI Electric in the Upper El classroom one morning in October.
Teachers also received a selection of supplemental instructional materials that were used as mini lessons throughout the beginning of the school year in addition to the presentation.
All Upper el Students received a free Take Action kit with technologies to make their homes more energy-efficient.
The Upper El students enjoyed all the lessons presented by the upper el teachers, the presentation by UGI and exploring energy sources both renewable and non-renewable. Our participation in this program allowed Upper El to receive a $350.00 mini grant from UGI electric which will be used towards our overnight fieldtrip to Boston in May!
