The Wyoming Valley Montessori School recently celebrated the start of its 42nd year and welcomed three new teachers at Back to School Night. Parents had the opportunity to meet the staff and discuss the school’s curriculum. New teachers are Jonelle Marie Lasky, Jenkins Township, graduated magna cum laude from Misericordia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with a concentration in early childhood education; Brian Palladino, Larksville, graduated magna cum laude from King’s College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and special education; and Gina Zilla, Scott Township, graduated magna cum laude from Wilkes University with a bachelor’s degree from the Wilkes School of Education and a minor in psychology.
